To establish the first digital university of its kind in Iraq

BAGHDAD – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-GDU), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), and the Iraq-based Academic Center for Learning, Training Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (ACLTDTAI - Iraq) – currently under establishment - signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the first digital university of its kind in Iraq.

During the signing ceremony, the two parties agreed to transfer the TAG-GDU experience to Iraq, enabling the newly established university to deliver the same academic programs and operate under the same mechanism as the main university, with the possibility of introducing additional fields of study.

Both parties further decided to collaborate in reaching remote areas and expanding access to digital education throughout Iraq.

It is worth mentioning that the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-GDU) was established in 2012, and maintains strategic partnerships with several prestigious global universities, including the internationally accredited Westcliff University in the United States, which offers Master's and PhD programs in Management, Education, and Business through interactive digital learning platforms. This enables students to obtain internationally recognized degrees.

TAG-GDU also partnered with Amity University in India to offer globally accredited online learning programs to obtain Bachelor's and Master's degrees. This collaboration expands learning opportunities and provides a flexible, comprehensive educational experience. Additionally, TAG-GDU provides professional Master's degrees in specialized disciplines such as Business Administration in Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration in Information Technology, General Management, Digital Marketing, Intellectual Property, and Supply Chain Management through free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). This enables students to obtain accredited Master's degrees in accordance with US digital Master’s degree standards.

It is worth mentioning that TAG-GDU always seeks to expand its network of partnerships with global universities, offering online programs to enhance learning opportunities and provide diverse, competitive academic disciplines for students worldwide.
