AMMAN - The 16th Bosphorus
Summit will commence on November 6, 2025, under the theme “Global Challenges:
Adapting to New Realities” where HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman
of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) and the Honorary President of the
Bosphorus Summit’s Board of Trustees, will deliver the keynote address at the
Summit’s opening ceremony, which will witness broad international
participation.
It is worth mentioning that Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh serves in the position of the Honorary President of the Summit’s
Board of Trustees for the thirteenth consecutive year.
Also addressing the opening session will
be HE Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Jordanian Senate, who will be
participating in the Summit for the fourth time, delivering a speech on
“Parliamentary Cooperation and International Peace.”
Among other prominent keynote speakers on
the agenda of the Summit are HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani,
chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI), HE Mr. Ebrahim
Patel, former Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition of South Africa, HE
Mr. Mladen Ivanic, former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Mr. Gjorge
Ivanov, former President of North Macedonia, HE Mr. Rexhep Meidani, former
President of the Republic of Albania, Brig. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa
bin Salman Al Khalifa, commander of the Royal Medical Services in Bahrain, Dr.
Luluh Aldhubayi, Director of King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, and HE Mr.
Yassine Jaber, Lebanon’s Minister of Finance. In addition to the Brazilian
President HE Mr. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Former President of Argentina HE
Mr. Eduardo Duhalde, and Former Bulgarian President HE Mr. Petar Stoyanov.
It should be noted that the Bosphorus
Summit, held annually in Istanbul, Türkiye, convenes leaders and
representatives from over 80 countries, along with numerous private sector
institutions worldwide. The Summit serves as a key platform to discuss cooperation
issues in economic and bilateral relations that effectively contribute to
securing a stable and lasting international system based on international law
and shared human values globally.
The two-day Summit will include deep panel
discussions covering various topics, with a special focus on reforming the
World Order to make it more democratic, just, and capable of ensuring
international peace and security. The discussions will also highlight the
mechanism of achieving prosperity through advancements in science, innovation,
and technology.
As part of the Summit, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s
recently released book, “From the United Nations to the United People,” will be
distributed as a gift to all participating delegations, following its
translation into Turkish, in addition to Arabic and English editions.
