AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), received in his office HE José Ulises Lescure, ambassador of Panama to Jordan, who conveyed an official invitation to participate in the 2nd edition of the International Economic Forum - ‘Latin American and Caribbean in Panama. The Forum, organized by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, will convene world leaders, decision-makers and experts from various countries around the world.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh welcomed the invitation to attend, expressing his acknowledgement of its importance, emphasizing that the Forum serves as a strategic platform for dialogue on issues of sustainable growth, digital transformation, innovation, and the strengthening of regional economic integration.

He further highlighted the significance of the Forum’s opening session, which will be jointly chaired by His Excellency José Raúl Mulino, president of Panama, and His Excellency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, president of Brazil.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh outlined his vision on launching the world’s first Global Digital Polytechnic Institute dedicated to professionals worldwide. The Institute will be fully based on digital education, enabling remote enrollment, collaborating with internationally recognized universities, and providing accredited digital certifications.

He also stressed the need to establish an influential international institutional framework that serves as a balancing force to existing global economic frameworks, contributing to the enhancement of emerging economies’ impact and role in shaping the future of the global economy.


At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized that his participation in the Forum will be either through a representative or a recorded speech, in addition to providing the organizing body with a written paper reflecting his intellectual vision and key themes, which would effectively enhance the Arab contributions in the Forum’s activities.
