Professional Certificates

The Society has developed a range of professional certificates based on the latest international professional standards and best practices in accounting education. They enable accountants and auditors to increase their professional knowledge and competitiveness in the labor markets. These certificates are:

International Arab Certified Public Accountant (IACPA):
This certificate aims to provide accountants and auditors with a high-level professional qualification, in addition to obtaining a license to practice the auditing profession in a number of the Arab countries.

The certificate consists of four main papers. The student must pass them all. Paper topics include economy, finance, accounting, auditing, and legislations. The exam is conducted electronically twice a year in the centers accredited by the Society in the Arab world. Examination fees vary depending on the country from which the student is applying.

International Arab Certified Management Accountant (IACMA):
This certificate aims to qualify participants to the highest levels in the field of administrative accounting. This enables candidates to analyze financial data in accordance with financial reporting standards and risk management and to enhance their knowledge in various fields of management, financial accounting, cost accounting, economics, and finance.

The certificate consists of two main papers. The applicant must pass them all. Paper topics include financial and cost accounting, administrative accounting and financial management. The exam is conducted electronically twice a year in the centers accredited by the Society in the Arab region. The examination fee is USD500.

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Expert:
This certificate aims to enable participants to build and develop their knowledge capabilities of the theoretical and conceptual aspects of the international standards

and the ability to apply the international standards in practical accounting, in addition to helping them in the continuous career development in the field of standards and following up on the amendments and updates made to them.

The certificate consists of one main paper that covers all the standards the applicant must pass. The exam is conducted electronically twice a year in the centers accredited by the Society in the Arab world. The examination fee is USD500.

International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Expert:
This certificate aims to provide the participants with full professional knowledge of the international accounting standards in the public sector, with a focus on their practical applications and interpretation, in addition to shedding light on the practices related to accounting, reporting, and international accounting standards in the public sector.

The certificate consists of one main paper that covers all the standards the applicant must pass. The exam is conducted electronically twice a year in the centers accredited by the Society in the Arab world. The examination fee is USD300.
