Arab Society formed
A new accountancy organization, the Arab Society of Certified Accountants, has been formed. The pan-Arab organization seeks to adapt audit standards and practices to the needs of Arab economies.
The Society’s London executive director is Ben Strachan, a former British Ambassador to Algeria.
