‘Abu-Ghazaleh for Quality in Education’ and ‘Global Vision’ Launch 2nd Batch of ‘Inclusive Digital Teacher Diploma’ Scholarship for 2025

To help teachers use AI in Inclusive Education

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Quality in Education (TAG-EDUQA), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), in cooperation with Global Vision Quality and Sustainability Consulting Foundation, announced the launch of the second batch of the Inclusive Digital Teacher Diploma scholarship for the year 2025, with the participation of 600 teachers from 10 Arab countries, following the great success of the first batch.

In its new edition, the Diploma focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) applications with the aim of developing and preparing lessons that take into account the individual differences in students’ abilities. It also seeks to enhance cooperation between schools and families of students with special needs and enable the Arab teachers to use new technology that provide an inclusive education for all students.

Furthermore, the Diploma combines the frameworks of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the digital content, with a practical training on the tools of AI to provide multi-media resources and establish metrics that assess students’ performance and progress in the classroom and at home.

Dr. Maria Tawalbeh, TAG-EDUQA executive director, stated that the ‘participation of this number of teachers from ten Arab countries underlines and signifies the growing need for inclusive educational solutions based on AI, particularly, as the second batch of the Diploma builds on the success of the first batch, and provides practical tools that are measurable and directly applicable in the classrooms’.

For his part, Mr. Riadh Mohammad Zammali, representative of Global Vision Foundation, said, “We aim to transform quality principles and rules into tangible classroom and family practices. AI is a tool to achieve educational fairness, and not a goal by itself.”

It is worth mentioning that the two sides will organize an orientation session on the training diploma next week. The training shall include different topics mainly preparing plans for inclusive lessons, flexible assessment tools, individual progress metrics, developing digital monitoring dashboards and family communication templates supported by photos and symbols, practical AI applications to tailor-made activities and producing alternative resources that take into consideration sensory and linguistic needs.
