ASCA (JORDAN) and TAGI Release a Guide to Corporate Governance
AMMAN- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA JORDAN) in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAGI) released a guide to Corporate Governance. The guide covers the following subjects: historical overview about corporate governance, external and internal auditor’s roles and functions, and external auditors’ responsibility toward the corporation. In addition to the overview and objectives of the internal control system.
Corporate Governance is the system by which business entities are managed and controlled. It is a means to promote transparency and accountability. Thus, the cornerstones of having an effective system of corporate governance are fiduciary responsibility, transparency, accountability, control and ethical atmosphere.
