IP Regional Conference Opens in Cairo on Monday
CAIRO - Under the patronage of Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Minister of State for Scientific Research Dr Moufeed M. Shehab, the European Patent Office (EPO) is organizing a regional conference and workshop in Cairo June 7-10.
The meeting entitled “Industrial Property System for Actively Promoting Innovation in the Arab Region” is co-organized by the Academy for Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt (ASRT) and supported by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International (TAGI).
The attendees representing IP offices, governments, IP stakeholders and NGOs from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan in addition to the Gulf Cooperation Countries will underscore major issues related to industrial property system.
The participants will be provided with presentations for practical experiences from the Arab region through exposing models for promoting innovation in some Arab countries.
