Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh: Gaza’s steadfastness is the true victory
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
(TAG.GD), was hosted in an exclusive interview on the “Spot Shot” platform,
addressing a number of key economic, political and intellectual issues starting
with the recent cyberattack on TAG.GD, as well as his insights on the future of
the World Order.
During the interview, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh stated that TAG.GD was among several leading global companies
targeted in a cyberattack. However, he affirmed that his Organization had
successfully dealt with the incident, emphasizing that all data has always been
securely backed up in two different countries.
Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
went on to say that the TAG.GD was targeted precisely because it is the only
Arab company engaged in the technology industry that manufactures and produces
laptops, tablets and smartphones in Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon that
professionally competes with global brands worldwide.
Addressing the Arab youth, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh underscored the importance of innovation, highlighting his recent
election as Chair of the Arab Innovation Network.
On regional and international
fronts, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh reaffirmed that Gaza’s steadfastness represents a true
victory, stressing that the occupation’s failure to achieve its objectives is
in itself a victory. He underlined that the ongoing war on Gaza is not merely a
response to the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation (October 7 attack), but rather a
continuation of a struggle against the occupation since 1948.
He pointed out that the war
has resulted in significant human and economic losses to the Zionist entity,
while Palestinians have succeeded in exposing the true nature of the occupation
to global public opinion.
Regarding the so-called vision
of “Greater Israel” announced by the Prime Minister of the Zionist occupation,
Benjamin Netanyahu, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh dismissed any legitimacy of the occupation
in Syria, Lebanon, or Gaza. He emphasized that no recognition of any occupation
should be given under any circumstances. He further called on the Arab media
and journalists to use precise terminology rather than adopting Zionist and
Western media distorted narratives.
He continued by expressing his
profound belief that the end of Israel is coming, pointing out that the Zionist
entity was established in the aftermath of the Holocaust; which Palestinians in
Gaza are enduring today that is described as a ‘genocide’.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also stated
that the Palestinian Cause will be directly affected by the ongoing US-China
conflict; which he predicts may escalate into a military confrontation over
Taiwan within two years. Taiwan, he stated, is the world’s leading producer of
semiconductors and processor components that are essential for the world’s
modern technologies.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further
pointed out that the end of such a conflict will take place at the negotiation
table, where a new World Order will be established leading to shared global
governance. He also noted that this will mark the end of the current “unipolar
system” that has allowed the Zionist entity to carry out numerous crimes and
atrocities.
He affirmed that the fall of
US unipolar dominance will naturally diminish Zionist’s influence in the Middle
East. He also anticipated a gradual decline in the US dollar's position as the
world's primary reserve currency, with a growing shift toward sovereign digital
currencies. In contrast, he criticized private unbacked cryptocurrencies,
describing them as tools of surveillance over customers rather than true
financial alternatives.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh warned of a
looming global recession similar to the 1930s Great Depression, attributing
this to US protectionist economic policies. He compared current measures taken
by Donald Trump to those of former US President Herbert Hoover, emphasizing
that tariffs and trade restrictions are likely to lead to inflation,
unemployment, and rising prices.
On the Alaska Summit (The 2025
Russia–United States Summit) between the United States President Donald Trump
and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh downplayed its
significance, describing it as unproductive leading to no tangible results.
Concerning his experience
while serving at the United Nations, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed to his recently
published book entitled “From the United Nations to the United People”, in
which he calls for fundamental overhaul to the UN, starting with the abolition
of the “Veto” power held by the five permanent members of the Security Council.
Concluding his remarks, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh shared a key life lesson: “Resilience is the path of victory.”
Addressing the Arab youth, he said, “Every challenge you face is an opportunity
to learn and succeed. Never give up, the future belongs to innovators.”
