The event was held in cooperation between the University’s International Relations Department (IRD) and the Jordan National Erasmus+ Office.

TAGUCI, is a member of the Erasmus+ program, but its participation is also attributed to its interest in implementing new educational programs that meet the needs and requirements of the labor market. That is in addition to providing professionals wishing to develop their career path with knowledge and experience in the supply chain management and logistics fields.

In this regard, the Program Manager at the EU Delegation to Jordan, Ms. Ines Alves, indicated that the European Commission has raised the program budget for the years 2021-2027 to almost 2.2 billion euros dedicated to the program's international dimension.

During the event, the available opportunities to various ministries, universities and local community institutions were also reviewed, as the new program will focus on vocational and technical education, in addition to building capacities of employees working at youth institutions.

The new programs will also provide opportunities for students, and lecturers to benefit from the available cooperation projects with European partners and credit mobility, as well as master's degree scholarships and travel opportunities for young people.

The Erasmus+ Program is the EU's program in education and training fields that highly acknowledges the importance of the international approach adopted by the European Union in all fields, especially in higher education. The Program draws on the experience and success of the European Union's higher education programs. It also supports the international exchange of students, professors, and administrators with a view to sharing experiences and practices.
